META Tags Testing - Abstract and Subject Metadata Test

Here is the final response and the results of the abstract and subject meta tags test that was received from the member removed...

After my diligent effort to find any search engine that used abstract and subject meta tags, I cannot find any search engines that use them. Therefore, the extra weight added is not worth the problems they add. It would be my advice to any SEO/SEM to ignore these tags. Additionally, I've not found any use for the DCMI in the corporate world.

I keep my metadata down to the minimum required elements. I've gone through my sites and ensured that those sites no longer have that extra weight. Some sites have gone up in ranks by one or two positions.

I'm still working on the title attributes to see if they make any difference. At this point, it appears they do not. At least as far as I can tell.

As promised, if I provide incorrect, I would amend my ways. I have amended my ways and look forward to your response as to whether I would be allowed back into your directory.

Regards,
*** *******
