Seeking "Talented" WP Theme Designers

XSymmetry is seeking "talented" WordPress Theme Designer(s) to join our growing network of "high quality" partners. We do have projects pending as of 2008-08-08 and are actively seeking an "individual" or group of "individuals" to come on board with us.

Self Motivated

The qualified "individual(s)" should have enough experience designing WP Themes that they are now habit. Even if you are the "best designer", if you haven't done WordPress Themes, do not apply. We need someone who knows it all (or most of it anyway), is self-motivated and, can take a concept and run with it!

W3C Validation

We also require that all WordPress Themes validate XHTML 1.0 Transitional and/or Strict. Yes, we understand the whole HTML vs XHTML debate. We're on Windows. We develop both ASP and ASP.NET applications. Microsoft is XHMTL out of the box and so are most of the third party add-ons, plug-ins, gadgets, gizmos, widgets, you name it. We've got to go with the flow in this instance.

WordPress Themes Library

We're looking for WordPress Theme Designers to assist us in developing a WordPress Themes Library for our up and coming trusted network of WordPress Communities. We'll be tapping into our portfolio of 800+ domains and building a multitude of WordPress community platforms. Your first project will be a WordPress Theme for SEOBlog.com.

This is an excellent opportunity for an individual or a group of individuals to join us at the beginning stages of our network expansion. We've been at this now since late 1995 and have a bit of experience and a fairly large network of peers. You'll find me online under the username of pageoneresults.

Our network is somewhat "closed" meaning that we provide "all services" for our communities. We have a server farm along with a team of programmers and administrators on call 24/7/365. It has taken us a bit of time to establish what we have today and we are looking for "quality" people to join us moving forward.

This is a remote opportunity. There are no employee benefits as you will not be an employee but part of our peer network of providers who get paid per project and/or have joined us in a revenue sharing venture. The benefits you derive from this business relationship should far exceed any "corporate" benefits if you are the right person. Self-motivated individuals with a "take it and run with it" attitude are what we're looking for. If that is not you, do not apply.

WordPress on Windows

We are building a WordPress platform on Windows. We've already begun rewriting the core code based on our 13+ years of experience in this area. We're going to bypass most of the plug-ins as our platform will incorporate them by default. We are rewriting most of the WP architecture to remove common footprints. We are adding an ISAPI_Rewrite layer which will allow us to control all aspects of URI structure. In addition to that, we'll be providing an upper layer of security to protect our network from the more common WordPress vulnerabilities when they arise. No Google Dorks discovery!
