Abstract: The default PayPal shopping cart or Single Item Purchase system only allows for the selection of a single item for any of their fields. And there is no interaction among them to permit the increase in cost for larger sizes, a discount for large quantities, the construction of a complex description field composed of several options, or a host of other possibilities. However, it is possible to dynamically modify any of these fields with JavaScript (JS) before the actual call to the PayPal add to cart page is made.
