My introduction to search engine optimisation came around 2000 while trying to promote our first site, a book accessories directory.

With a limited budget there was no option but to get immersed in the subject which quickly became far more interesting than book accessories, and I've been here ever since.

I discovered that using uncomplicated low tech SEO methods such as those espoused in our SEO guide, most sites can achieve notable results.

Not all though.

Some sectors need what could be termed "muscular" SEO which skates on some rather thin ice as far as the SE guidelines are concerned, and being of a somewhat nervous disposition I've tended to avoid those sectors.

I could be described as a "compliant" SEO, less interested in trying to game the SEs with the latest "wheeze", more interested in creating something durable.

The low cost search engine optimisation services offered are aimed primarily at the web site owner or developer already familiar with the aims of SEO, and may be intending to pursue this area themselves.

Our "off-the-shelf" SEO products are designed to be used as templates by these types of client, which explains their relatively low cost.

Both our guide and services follow industry "best practice" and comply with the search engine guidelines, we take a fairly strict interpretation of them, and cover them in both our guide and SEO training.
