About the Consultant and/or Company

Crendo develops both B2B and B2C websites. We've worked on websites and designed marketing materials for race car teams, software companies, venture capitalists, and universities. We love creating beautiful sites that are feature rich, copywritten for the search engines, and architected to enhance the visitors' experience.

Our award winning design team started creating web sites in 1995, and our first SEO gigs were back when you could email Jerry Yang of Yahoo! directly if you ran into problems getting your site into his directory.

Training and/or Education

Degrees in Advertising (from U of Oregon) and Computer Science (from Stanford), plus post-graduate courses in technical writing, photography, web design, marketing, graphic design, 3D design, and sound editing. We are constantly upgrading our skillset through online courses, self paced training, and continuous reading.

Website and/or Graphic Design Experience

Crendo has been in the business of designing highly branded websites and print materials since 1995. We're experienced at balancing the need for being found in the search engines with our clients' desire for a website with a unique look and feel. We feel that the design of a website should always focus on helping clients effectively market their products and services, not just on gaining a good search engine position, because if your site doesn't do an effective job of selling once you get the traffic your traffic will leave and buy from your competition.

Technical Experience

Both partners worked in the high tech industry starting in 1983, at companies like Sun Microsystems, Sybase and 3Com, as well as at a wide range of startup firms.
