Dan Thies, President of SEO Research Labs, is a well known author, consultant, and teacher in search engine marketing. The company was established in 2003 to provide support services to readers of his books and other web professionals.

Unlike most SEM firms, SEORL does not carry out project implementation, instead focusing on consulting, training, research, and strategic support to enable site owners, in-house professionals, and site designers to achieve significant results at a lower cost.
