About the Consultant and/or Company

Markus Hoevener is a search engine developer since 1995 that has developed lots of search engine technology and runs several search engines.

Andreas Mueller has a strong International marketing background, having lived and worked in Germany, France, the UK and Japan.

Training and/or Education

Markus has studied Computer Science and Marketing at the University of Dortmund (Germany) and is in the search engine business since 1995.

Andreas has a bachelor's degree from Alma College (Michigan) and a Master's Degree from the University of California, Davis.

Web Site and/or Graphic Design Experience

We mostly use Dreamweaver on the PC platform, a diverse set of graphic tools and a lot of in-house tools.

Technical Experience

Markus has a strong UNIX background (Linux, Solaris), speaks C/C++, Python and Java, knows and implemented a lot of Internet protocols (HTTP, NNTP, SMTP, POP3), knows Flash/Swish very well. During his career, he created many search engines and web sites.
