About the Consultant and/or Company

Born and raised in Melbourne Australia, I moved to Barcelona, Spain in 1991, in time for the Olympic Games. I have started, run, and sold several businesses that helps me understand the issues that small and medium sized business owners face, helping me to communicate on the same level.

Training and/or Education

I left the university where I was studying Architecture to start my own business, and went on to buyout our largest competitor and merge the two companies. Eleven years later I sold my shares to a partner.

I started my first website in 1999. When the webdesign company I'd contracted couldn't keep up with demand, I was left to complete the job myself.

This was my initiation into website building, and later, SEO. It also gave me an insight into the pitfalls of project management!

I am an editor at ODP (dmoz.org) the largest human built directory in the world. This gives me a closer insight into how directories work, as well as the opportunity to return something to the sector.

Web Site and/or Graphic Design Experience

I am able to create a professional looking website using the colours, fonts, and feeling from your company's corporate logo. These days I am only taking design projects for existing clients, but I can help you find a reliable designer and can consult with him/her on new projects. (And that's the best time start SEO, not after your site is launched.)

Technical Experience

I have ample experience working in html and php, and a dislike of commercial websites made entirely in Flash, nearly impossible to optimise.
