I should preface this with a warning that this is my first venture into Social Media Networking after being online for more than 13+ years. I wanted to "get my feet wet" as they say. Little did I know that I would be plunging myself into the depths of Social Media Hell while traversing through the Social Media Brothels of the Internet. This is the epic journey of one lost soul searching for a place to share his thoughts and experiences.

JourneyIt all started on 2008 July 11, Friday at approximately 19:00 PDT while visiting the What's New section on Sphinn and reviewing the latest Submits to the list. My research began a couple of weeks prior to that but in a more casual manner. I spent one (01) full week "very" actively involved within the Sphinn Community. How active you ask? As of 2008-07-20 at 19:00, Google shows 1,530 results for the term pageoneresults within the Sphinn.com domain (2008-08-02 at 08:15, Google shows 549 results). And, I got my Sphinn Profile Terminated in the process.

Without further delay, you are welcome to peruse 100+ hours of research I've assembled using a variety of tools that all Internet Marketers should have in their toolbox, mostly common sense through tenure along with a little bit of ingenuity. SMM just don't get SEO!

Oh, one last thing, thank you very much to Google for being "the best" search engine out there by far. Using a multitude of funky search queries and getting banned a few times in the process, and from the Toolbar no less, I was able to at least find my starting points at which time I switched into overdrive and "dug a little deeper" using "other tools" that are readily available but rarely discussed. One of them being the Google TouchGraph Browser.
